Childrens Ministry
Kids Rock is the children’s ministry of Sarasota Baptist Church. Our mission is to come alongside of parents as we both seek to connect their children with Jesus Christ. All we do in activities and programming is with that goal in mind.
At both of our campuses we offer community groups for children at 9:00 AM and at Proctor Road at 10:30 AM as well. We use a curriculum devised by the reThink Group called 252 Basics. It is built around three basic truths which Jesus modeled in Luke 2:52.

- I need to make the wise choice.
- I can trust God no matter what.
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
Each month we study a different Biblical virtue, a quality of God’s nature that He instills in those who follow Him. We meet together in a large group for worship in music and a fun teaching time. Then we break up into small groups led by an adult volunteer to engage in application activities and discussions.
