Bob Kowaleski is a retired Michigan school teacher of 32 years. He and his wife Gisela came to Sarasota in 1999 and started attending Sarasota Baptist Church. God led them here and they have seen God at work in a mighty way.

Bob was active in his church in Michigan for many years in such areas as serving on the church board, teaching Sunday School, and working with the Navigator program. He enjoyes working with Community Groups and Bible studies. Bob also hosted an annual venison dinner as an outreach to the community.

Bob has a desire to serve God and thus has been involved in serving at Sarasota Baptist. He also has been a part of the Plus Ministry and has seen it grow in number and outreach since its beginning. Plus Ministry has given Bob and Gisela a chance to make new friends, enjoy special times of fellowship, and grow together in their Christian walk.
