Beyond Possible Day 1 - April 29

Welcome to the journey of living ‘beyond possible!’ Are you ready? You may ask,
“How can I live beyond the possible, natural, explainable, temporary life?” The
Bible’s answer in Hebrews chapter 11 is “By faith in God.” This chapter will be our
focus on Sundays for the next 9 weeks.

Let’s open our hearts to read Genesis chapter 1, verses 1 – 25. Highlight in the
text each time “Then God said” is used. What is the result of God speaking? What
application is this revelation to your life? What does it do to your heart?
Let’s zero in on Hebrews 11:3 – “By faith, we understand that the universe was
created by the word of God so that what is seen was made from things that are
not visible.” How do we accept that God took nothing and created everything? By
faith in the Word of God.

Consider – Other theories for the origin of the universe require faith in the people
who developed their philosophies; their theories are continually changing. But God
who never changes has stated the universe's origin is His omnipotent Word.
Which will you believe, the changing words of people or the unchanging Word of
God?

Pause and respond in prayer – “O Lord God, I believe with a heart of faith that the
universe was created by Your Word. Only You can do what is beyond possible
human explanation to create everything out of nothing. My heart is open for You to
do unsearchable things in my life through Your Living Son, for I pray in Jesus’
mighty name, Amen.”
