Raised to Walk Devo Day 27 - April 27

Let’s prayerfully reflect on Romans chapter 12. As you
read the passage, do the following:

H- highlight the verses that stand out to you.
E – explain the verse(s) in your own words of what
God is saying to you.
A – apply the verse to your life. (What would it look
like to live this truth in your
life?)
R – respond in prayer by writing your heart to God.

Let’s zero into V. 14 – “But put on the Lord Jesus
Christ, and make no provision for the flesh to gratify its
desires.” How do we offer our bodies to God as
instruments of righteousness? It is by clothing
ourselves with Jesus each new day.

Seek to pray daily – “Jesus, as I put on my clothes
each day, I desire for You to be my belt of truth, my
breastplate to guard my heart with righteousness, my
helmet to guard my mind with salvation, my shoes to
lead me to share Your Gospel of peace, my sword
with Your powerful Word, and my shield with Your
steadfast faithfulness. Clothe me; Jesus, be Jesus in
me; no longer me but thee; resurrection power, fill me
these hours; Jesus, be Jesus in me, Amen!”
